Solo indie developer · Unity
I make games, and the tools I wish I'd had while making them.
Romano Assets is one person building games in Unity. Every time a job in the editor gets slow or fiddly, I build a tool for it. The ones that earn their keep on my own game get polished up and shared, so other developers can skip the busywork too.
The game
Pawnheads
A co-op physics game about running a tiny pawn shop. Bid on storage units at auction, dig through the junk by hand, haul it home in a beat-up van, and sell it across the counter, while keeping the weird stuff for yourself. Everything is a real object you can pick up, stack, throw, or drop on a friend.
The tool
All In One World Builder Kit
Snap-together world building in one window. Pieces from the asset packs you already own click into place like building blocks. Paint grass and litter, lay a street in one drag, fill empty lots and fence them in, all without leaving a single editor window.
- Lego snapping. Pieces sit flush against their neighbours, and on the grid when alone.
- Your packs, one palette. Add a pack and every prefab shows up, measured and sorted.
- Brush, row, fill, fence. The repetitive jobs become one drag each.
- Built for non-programmers. Everything lives in the window; no digging through folders.
